BROWS PRE CARE:

HEALTH HISTORY INTAKE FORM MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR! Not everyone is a candidate for semi permeant make-up, so it is important to have this form completed and accurate.

24 hours prior: Do not workout 24 hours prior. No alcohol or caffeine. 48 hours is preffered.

48 hours prior:Do not take Advil/Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Niacin, vitamin E. No power shakes/power greens/ hair, skin, & nail supplements. (These can increase your bleeding and make it more difficult for the pigment to take)

1 week prior: No sun/ tanning beds. No brow waxing, threading, tinting. Discontinue use of eyelast or brow growth serums.

2 weeks prior: Discontinue retinols/retin-A, Hydroquinone, AHA’s (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) , BHA’s or anything that contains acids, glycolics and chemical peels. Discontinue any harsh skincare.

Botox or filler should be avoided 2 weeks prior to procedure. Brows in their most relaxed/resting state will achieve a more natural result.

Note: you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

No Accutane use within 1 year

BROW AFTER CARE:

24 hours: Blot brows with tissue to absorb lymphatic fluid excreting from brows.

1 . With clean hands, gently wash brows daily using a gentle cleanser and water.

2 . Allow brows to completely dry ( pat dry) and apply a thin layer of Aquaphor

Repeat steps 1 & 2 for 10 days after service.

Do not rub, pick, or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin

naturally exfoliate off. Picking will cause scarring and pigment loss.

Pigment can take unevenly upon first treatment which is why a touch up is required. Skin types absorb the pigment differently and results can vary!

Avoid direct sun exposure & tanning beds for a minimum of 4 weeks after. Direct sunlight can cause pigment to change color while healing and also cause hyper pigmentation and scarring.

No underwater swimming for 2 weeks to avoid infection

Avoid pools, saunas, steam rooms, steamy showers, and hot baths for 10 days.

Avoid sweating on your face for 10 days. Sweating through the brows will expel pigment from the dermis and produce poor patchy results.

Avoid sleeping on your brow area for 10 days

After 24 hours you may wear makeup but no brow makeup until fully healed ( 2 weeks) and no getting makeup close to the brow

Once healed

Exposure to the sun and tanning beds will cause premature fading and discoloration to the pigment

Apply a physical sunscreen if outside all day

For further protection wear hats, sunglasses, and stay in the shade!

Maintain removal of unwanted brow hair outside of your tattooed brow design by tweezing, threading, waxing or razoring.

Lasers will alter the color of the pigment. Stay at least 1 ½ inch away from the brow.

Certain skincare products and services will cause premature fading of tour brow tattoo and may also alter the color. Apply a layer of Vaseline/Aquaphor over brow before applying glycolic acid, salicylic acid, AHA’s, BHA’s hydroquinone, retinol/retin-A, peels, microdermabrasion, etc,
